Trudave is so good they will make America great again!
I have worn these several times while wading into (less than knee high) water for several reasons. I find these to be very comfortable and my feet were always warm and dry. I cannot speak to how they would be in the snow or colder environment since I live in Florida.
I think my headline sums up these boots. I will add that the soles have a nice pattern that should get good traction in the mud and also appears to be fairly rugged. About at the bottom of the calf the construction changes from a more rugged rubber type material to a more clothlike material. This is more comfortable but does not appear to be as tough so I would not suggest you use these if you work in concrete, for example. They also seem to run about a half size small so I will have to wear only one pair of socks in the snow. They do seem to be very warm so I may not need the extra pair. A good multi use pair of boots to have around for almost any type of yard work.
My husband was looking for a cross between a snow boot and rain boot - and here it is!!! He likes that the top part is somewhat flexible so that he can easily tuck in his pants. He doesn't consider this an every day boot like his other boots, but when the need arises, these boots fit the bill perfectly. Easy to hose off and clean up.
These Trudave Rubber Boots are very well made. The material is thick and definitely waterproof. They seem to run a little large to me. I usually wear women 8-8.5 (EU40) depending on the style of the shoe. I had to place an insole in these boots which made them fit perfectly. I do have thin feet and legs though. I can wear socks with these and still have enough room to wiggle my toes. I usually have issues with shoes cutting narrow at the pinkie toe causing the shoe to rub and hurt. Not so with these boots. I have plenty of room. I wore these on a camping trip and (after the rain passed) when it was time to put my sneakers back on, my feet were sad! I actually wanted to keep the boots on instead. My only issue with these boots is that a crease has formed in front of my shins. So after a while, the fabric rubs my legs sore. I'm not sure if I should use leg warmers to create a cushion for my shins or what. The bed of the shoe has good cushion though. These are not like wearing those thin rain boots. No pinching of the toes. My heels did not hurt. The thickness of the soles created extra cushion so each step was easygoing.
