Breathable waders use multi-layer waterproof membrane fabrics that allow sweat vapor to escape, making them ideal for warm weather or active wading. Neoprene waders are made from thick, insulating synthetic rubber that traps body heat, making them best suited for cold water and winter fishing.

Bootfoot waders feature built-in rubber boots for quick pull-on convenience and easy cleaning—ideal for muddy banks and casual trips. Stockingfoot waders feature soft neoprene booties that require separate wading boots, providing customized ankle support and superior stability on uneven or slippery riverbeds.

Waders should fit comfortably over your underlying layers without pulling tightly at the knees or crotch when bending or stepping high. Choose your standard shoe size for bootfoot models (accounting for thick socks). For stockingfoot models, order based on your chest/waist measurements and stocking foot length.

For warm weather or long walks along the bank, choose breathable waders paired with lightweight baselayers. For cold water or winter wading, choose neoprene waders (or breathable waders worn with thermal fleece underlayers) to retain body heat.

Rinse waders thoroughly with clean fresh water after each outing to remove dirt, mud, and salt. Hang them to dry completely at room temperature in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Never store waders while damp.
